A work of theatrical grandeur that drags the audience inside of a Windows PC to experience a digital mashup of physical theatre, nostalgic game fantasy and unbridled morbid curiosity.
Our once avid teenage player is now a disillusioned adult. Watch her dictate sims’ personalities, sexuality and humanity, whilst our two-dimensional friends are confined to their single household.
Sims has helped a generation of queer players process uncharted thoughts they didn’t know how to voice. It created a sanctuary to try on different personas, and explore gender and identity. MOTHERLOD_^E is a dark unveiling of the tension between innocent exploration and the malevolent results of playing God unchecked.

A culmination of the stories we tell ourselves about existence. Fact, fiction, wives’ tales, white lies, myths, learnt behaviours, common misconceptions – it’s all part of the human narrative.
